Allianz Life Creative Services Department Adds Eight Awards in 2012

MINNEAPOLIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Two outstanding videos are among the projects responsible for a total of eight awards earned so far in 2012 by the in-house Creative Services Department for Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life®). After receiving recognition in 2011 from the Insurance and Financial Communicators Association (IFCA), Graphic Design USA and the Printing Industry of Minnesota, this year’s accolades include two Bronze Awards from the 33rd Annual Telly Awards, as well as additional awards from IFCA and Graphic Design USA’s American Inhouse Design Awards.

33rd Annual Telly Awards (2012) – One of the premier award competitions honoring the finest film and video productions, groundbreaking web videos and outstanding TV commercials and programs. A worldwide competition, the Telly Awards receive more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents. Allianz Life was recognized with two Bronze Awards for:

  • “Pronounced: Strength” – Regional TV & Multi-Market Cable Category
  • Vision Variable Annuity product video – Sales Video Category

The Insurance and Financial Communications Association (IFCA) annual awards competition – Association members throughout the United States and Canada evaluated thousands of entries based on five criteria: concept; writing, art direction, overall execution and effectiveness. Allianz Life was recognized with:

  • Award of Excellence – For The ABCs of Annuities video series.
  • Award of Excellence – Questar Capital 2012 Calendar

The 2012 Graphic Design USA, American Inhouse Design Awards – Designers are evaluated for creativity, the special challenges they face, and their contributions to their businesses and institutions. The competition features 400 winning pieces from more than 4,000 entries submitted. Allianz Life was recognized for:

The Allianz Life Creative Services Department is responsible for the brand, advertising, media and creative approach for all marketing materials. The department consists of project leaders, art directors, copywriters, print producers and a variety of specialists in the creative field. The 45-person team creates all of the marketing materials that support financial professionals in the sales process. They also create all of the internal communications’ pieces and messaging that reinforces the Allianz Life brand.
