CINCINNATI–()–To show appreciation for their one million global Facebook fans, the hundreds of people behind the Febreze and Ambi Pur brands literally said “thank you” over and over – day and night for 30 hours and 48 minutes – via live streaming video until they reached one million thank yous.
The Febreze and Ambi Pur “Thank-a-Thon” kicked off Monday on all seven of the brands’ Facebook pages featured a live streaming video where fans were able to interact in real-time with the “thankers,” including sending smelly food and other odor-producing items to the room as well as deciding which Febreze or Ambi Pur product should be used to combat the scents.
A schedule of hourly activities and visual stunts, including saying thank you in multiple languages, cheering on a lone thanker on a stationary bike and donning stinky sports equipment, entertained and amused fans throughout the live “Thank-a-Thon.”
While saying “thank you” one million times consecutively on Facebook set an unprecedented record, below are some additional fun numbers from the event:
