EchoBox is the leading solution for enabling remote review of real-time echocardiography images over the WEB. Today, EchoBox is combined with a high performance video camera- EchoCam- for viewing both the patient and real-time echo images of the heart simultaneously. Viewing the patient is important in cases where the imaging expert may want to engage in a live telemedicine video consult while viewing the echo images.

Tele-EchoBox simultaneously streams live video and real-time echo images over standard computer networks to enable a video consult during an echo procedure. Tele-Echo Box consists of a wireless video camera, compact interface module and software viewer. The EchoBox module interfaces with most echo imaging systems, and the viewer is downloaded from the WEB to most laptops and desktops. EchoCam runs in either wired or wireless mode and enables viewing of the patient, the transducer and imaging system keyboard and controls during the echo procedure. Tele- EchoBox transmits live video and high resolution echo images including perioperative TEE, fetal, pediatric and adult studies over hospital information systems, VPN networks or the WEB. Tele-EchoBox is compact, easy to use and low cost, typically less than $5,000.
